Lifelong Learning

From classes designed for alumni, to performances, timely lectures, and research-backed resources — there’s plenty to keep Muhlenberg alumni learning.

Arts at Muhlenberg

Muhlenberg creativity abounds, and our campus frequently hosts world-class artists, musicians and performers. Join us for a cultural experience unparalleled in the Lehigh Valley! If you’d like to showcase your visual art, take part in our annual Alumni Art Show. Artists are invited to submit original work for inclusion each spring, and the show goes on display each fall.

Election Series

Shining a nonpartisan light on critical issues ahead of Election Day, our Department of Political Science offers a regular series that brings influential speakers and thinkers to campus and invites our own community scholars to discuss and dissect.

Institute of Public Opinion

Since 2001, Muhlenberg's Institute of Public Opinion has conducted scientific-based research of public opinion at the local, state and national levels. The highly-rated institute is trusted by national media outlets for its measurement on electoral and public policy issues, as well as environmental and health matters.

Center for Ethics Lectures

Muhlenberg's Center for Ethics hosts lectures and events — both on campus and online — to engage our community in developing capacity for ethical reflection, moral leadership, and responsible action. Each year focuses on a different theme.

Red Door Roots Series

Funded by a grant from the Council of Independent Colleges / Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education, this speaker series seeks to initiate a deeper conversation about Muhlenberg's Lutheran values, which have underpinned the transformative changes the college has experienced over the past 50 years.

Living Writers Series

A unique component of the college’s creative writing program, the Living Writers Series brings burgeoning and established writers to campus to interact with students before holding a public reading of their work and taking part in a question and answer session and book signing.
