Giving Societies
Muhlenberg's four giving societies serve to recognize support and bring our large community of donors together as invested partners in the future of our students.
Circle of 1848
Named for the year in which Muhlenberg College was established, this society recognizes the vital role benefactors played in Muhlenberg’s emergence as a respected, four-year, residential liberal arts institution and the role they play today in ensuring its continued success.
Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Society
The Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Society was founded in 1967 to recognize those who make leadership gifts of $1,500 or more over the course of one fund year (July 1 - June 30).
Lifetime Giving Society
Founded in 2007, Muhlenberg’s Lifetime Giving Society celebrates our most generous donors and the impact of their cumulative giving. The society boasts more than 575 members including alumni, parents, friends, foundations, corporations, organizations and churches.
Loyalty Society
The Loyalty Society recognizes those who give a gift of any amount for five or more consecutive fund years (July 1 - June 30).
“If I could describe my Muhlenberg experience in one word, it would be ‘fulfilling.’ I can confidently say that Muhlenberg has allowed me to remain curious, ask questions and answer some of the questions on my own.”
