Following a momentous year at Muhlenberg College, it is with great pleasure that I share the fund year 2024-25 Philanthropy Report with you, our dedicated supporters. Philanthropy is the very foundation for all that we do at 'Berg.
Support from the Muhlenberg community fuels our rigorous approach to liberal arts education, empowering us to provide every student with the academic challenges and personalized guidance they need to learn, think critically, and act. Because of this incredible community, our expert faculty and staff can encourage students to try the improbable and make transformative discoveries through high-impact experiences like study abroad, research, and internships.
And the return on this investment is incredibly tangible. The data show that the value of a Muhlenberg degree outperforms 80% of all other degrees earned across the nation, and philanthropy is a direct contributor to this success.
This past year was especially significant as we celebrated the culmination of Boundless: The Campaign for Muhlenberg. Thanks to your efforts, we exceeded our goal of $125 million, raising an incredible $127,335,686 by the close of fiscal year 2025 on June 30. Philanthropy, totaling $8.3 million in cash receipts this year alone, demonstrates the incredible power of our community.
Of course, none of this would be possible without you — our alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, students, and tireless volunteers. Thank you for coming together to support each other and our community through initiatives like Mulementum, Mule Madness, THAW and Alumni Weekend.
Because of your solidarity, Muhlenberg’s top-notch education sends generations of thinkers, doers, and problem solvers into the world.
